Darwish and Company was established in 1969 and is a medium-sized company registered and operating in the State of Qatar. Darwish and Company is a private company with limited liability wholly owned by Ahmed Kassem Darwish and Sons with one sister company registered in Dubai, UAE under the name of Ahmed Kassem Darwish Trading Establishment.

Darwish and Company has expanded in the fields of general trading, government tenders, installation and maintenance of elevators & escalators, representation of international companies and marine services.

With the economy of Qatar rapidly scaling up, coupled with the success of the North Field Gas projects, Darwish and Company has confidently broaden its activities by offering a wide range of services to various organizations in order to preserve its presence and good reputation in the Middle East; keeping in mind, that a foreign investor cannot establish a mainland business entity without first appointing a local sponsor, which is the commercial law in Qatar and all the rest of the GCC countries.

Nevertheless, Darwish and Company is continuously expanding its operations in the fields of general trading, government tenders, installation and maintenance of elevators & escalators and the representation of international companies for the supply of office equipment.
